Green Drake Fbf Emerger
LFT-NA33.12Description
No documented origin or inventor can be found for the Green Drake FBF Emerger. It imitates the hatch of the large European mayfly species Ephemera danica and Ephemera vulgata, known in Central Europe as the "great mayfly" and famous for their intense hatches that often last only a few days.
The voluminous olive dubbing body, the highly visible foam float, and the textured Antron wing create a perfect drift just under or right in the surface film. It's fished dead-drift during Danica or Vulgata hatches and is effective for trout, grayling, and char in both river and stillwater.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
