Damsel Nymph Blue
LFT-N66.16Description
Damselflies (Coenagrionidae) occur at almost every pond or lake, and their nymphs rank among the well-known prey of many fish species; no documented origin or inventor can be traced for the fly pattern itself.
Since damselflies are active at the water from spring through autumn, this fly can be fished across the whole season. Tied barbless, it's fished just under the surface with a slow, twitching retrieve.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
