Minimal Pattern Brown Nymph

No documented origin or inventor can be traced for the Minimal Pattern Brown Nymph. It belongs to the Minimal Pattern series of sparsely dressed nymphs that use a reduced amount of material to give a general impression of several insect groups.

The slim, understated brown body looks natural in the water and is tied barbless. It's fished dead-drift and works as a reliable general-purpose nymph for trout and grayling.
