Emerging Pupa
LFT-N28.12Description
No documented origin or inventor can be traced for the Emerging Pupa. It belongs to the broad family of emerger patterns that recreate the moment a larva leaves, or has just left, its pupal shell.
This transitional stage is especially attractive to fish, since the insect drifts briefly and defenselessly on the surface. Tied barbless, it's fished just under or in the surface film.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
