Holosilver Blank Buster Chruncher
LFT-NA40.14Description
The Cruncher traces back to the so-called Ardleigh Nymph, named after Ardleigh Reservoir in England. It became widely known above all through Martin Cairncross, who introduced it to a broader audience via the successful Rutland Kingfishers team at a well-known competition on Rutland Water. This variant with holosilver ribbing and a striking orange hotspot head is a later development.
The body of shimmering peacock quill, combined with soft hackling, imitates small aquatic insects or rising larvae. The Holosilver Blank Buster Cruncher is fished in both rivers and lakes and is especially effective on wary or inactive fish.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
