Crippled Black
LFT-T43.14Description
The Crippled Black imitates an insect that failed to fully break free of its shuck while emerging, left hanging helplessly in the surface film - a state that wary trout and grayling are especially quick to exploit, since these insects can no longer escape. This black variant covers dark insect species.
The Crippled Black is fished dead-drift on calm water when dark insects are hatching - a convincing choice especially for very selective fish.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
