Perdigon Nymph Black Red

The Perdigon (Spanish for "pellet") was developed in 2002 by Asturian fly fisher José Carlos Rodríguez, who combined a nymph by Catalan tyer José María Cros with a micro-nymph by French angler Pascal Cognard and tested it on the Piloña River in Asturias. Spanish and French competition anglers spread the perdigon technique quickly through international competitive fly fishing. This black-red variant follows the classic, extremely slim build.

The thin, glossy-lacquered body minimizes water resistance and lets the fly sink exceptionally fast - ideal for fast-flowing currents, where it quickly reaches the fish's feeding zone. Tied barbless, it's a proven pattern for trout and grayling.
