No documented origin or inventor can be traced for the Grayling Blue Crystal. It belongs to the family of modern, brightly colored grayling nymphs.

The bright blue head creates a hard-to-miss flash underwater, making it one of the most productive grayling flies. Tied barbless, it's fished deep.
