No documented origin or inventor can be found for the Black and Blue Partridge. It belongs to the broad family of modern attractor nymphs that combine partridge hackle fibers with flash material.
The iridescent blue accents combined with the gold bead create targeted triggers underwater. It's fished dead-drift or close to the bottom and is a good choice especially in difficult light conditions for trout, grayling, and char.
