Silver Sedge Pupa
LFT-T36.08Description
The Silver Sedge is a classic caddisfly imitation used throughout the UK and much of Europe wherever pale, silvery-shimmering caddisfly species are on the water. This pupa variant imitates the insect at the moment it rises toward the surface, just before emerging.
The Silver Sedge Pupa is worked just below the surface to imitate rising caddis pupae - especially effective just before and during a hatch, when trout and grayling are keying in specifically on this stage.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
