Partridge Orange Spider
LFT-NA38.14Description
The Partridge & Orange Spider belongs to the time-honored family of North Country spider patterns from the Yorkshire Dales, which emerged in the early 19th century and became widely known through T. E. Pritt's 1885 book "Yorkshire Trout Flies". Its bright orange body and soft partridge hackle follow the classic, minimalist construction of this pattern family.
The Partridge & Orange Spider is classically fished wet, across the current with a natural drift, and is a strong trigger pattern in murky light or slightly colored water. Especially effective for rising or drifting trout and grayling.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
