Pale Watery CDC

The Pale Watery imitates the pale, light-colored mayfly species of the genus Baetis, common on English chalk and limestone streams and hatching from early May through November. No single inventor can be named for the specific fly pattern itself.

Its fine structure, pale body, and soft CDC wings create a natural silhouette on the water's surface. The Pale Watery CDC is fished dead-drift on calm water and is especially effective on warm summer days with small insect hatches, for selective trout and grayling.
