Dark Spotted Sedge
LFT-T28.12Description
The Dark Spotted Sedge is a dark, mottled caddisfly imitation representing the darker, spotted caddisfly species commonly found on many waters. Nothing reliable turns up in the available literature about a single inventor.
The Dark Spotted Sedge is fished dead-drift or with a light strip to imitate emerging or egg-laying caddisflies - especially in the evening hours, when darker caddisfly species become active.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
