Little Spider

The Little Spider belongs to the family of North Country spider patterns, those minimalist British wet flies from the Yorkshire Dales that emerged in the early 19th century and became widely known through T. E. Pritt's 1885 book "Yorkshire Trout Flies". With its especially small, reduced tying style, it's suited to delicate presentations for small insect species.

The Little Spider is classically fished wet, across the current, with a natural drift - its minimalist silhouette imitates small, drowned insects and is a proven choice especially for wary fish.
