No documented origin or inventor can be traced for the Goldkopf Pupa. It belongs to the broad family of classic gold-bead nymphs that belong in every fly box.

A versatile all-rounder, it's also a good choice in faster, deeper water. Tied barbless, it's fished deep and reliably produces trout and grayling.
