Rehhaar Sedge fein
LFT-T3.14Description
The Rehhaar Sedge fein is the smaller offshoot of the classic Rehhaar Sedge (Deer Hair Sedge) - tied for regions where the local caddisfly species don't grow as large. The air-filled deer hair still provides reliable buoyancy despite the smaller size.
The Rehhaar Sedge fein is classically fished dead-drift or with a light strip to imitate smaller, emerging or egg-laying caddisflies - a practical option when the larger sedge patterns feel too bulky.
Fair Trade, Full Circle
Your flies are tied fairly, with the best materials, on a barbless hook. "Fliegenfischen mit Herz" is building a base for women in Nairobi. The women there own and run the tying workshop themselves, giving them economic independence, pride in their craft, and joy in their customers. Let's work together toward a more balanced world.
